Who controls Santa Claus?

Who controls Santa Claus? Today, corporations and the media hold the reins of holiday mythology. They have control over what a popular mythology is and is not, by means of their large influence. But what power do we, as individuals, have to redefine for ourselves and those around us the idea of who Santa is?

I probably should have made a bigger deal out of it, but that was the artistic statement that I ended up with for this piece. The idea was to get people to think... who controls what Santa Claus is or is not? If a Hollywood movie shows that Santa uses a magic key to get into houses without chimneys, they have the power to add to the mythology of Santa. Who controls Santa? What are their bounds? Do they have a goal?

OMG, a Santa self-link - have you asked to be banned this Christmas?

JUst for you enlightment, the "Post a Link" page has the following message: "Note: You read the guidelines, right? Because linking to your own site in this space will result in a deletion and your account will be banned.". You probably should have believed it.

You should have redone this infernal deer and replicated the mount featured in EvilDead. Then broken into Walmart and replaced their standing model with your shrieking abomination.
