As this is a WMV file, and I don't have Windows Media Player, can someone give me the jist? Is it about the earlier indicated new Star Trek movie?

Citizen Dick is bored. This is a clip from Stephen Gervais' show Extras. Pay no mind.

'Spose it oughta be "Gervais's." Correct me.

And ought to Ricky not Stephen

I missed this particular episode, thanks for posting this clip. Very funny indeed.

Oh yeah, it's Ricky. I've been enjoying lately their 'cast with Mr. Pilkington. Is it Carl or Karl? Anyway, authorship is ever muddled. Funny.

That was awesome.
You know, I almost ran over Patrick Stewart once on my way home from work.

I loved that episode of "Extras", but as is the case with every episode of "The Office", it somehow becomes exponentially funnier with each viewing, and I found myself laughing quite loudly while I watched it!

thanks for sharing!

ah, I didn't realize you had to download to view, so here's the putfile version.

Dag Maggot: here's the audio without the video. You should be able to hear it.

That was hilarious. Thanks for shattering my image of Patrick Stewart as the serious, classically-trained Shakespearean actor. I needed that.

I was all set to be like "this should have a notice somewhere saying it's a link to a wmv!" in irate fury. but fuck it, that was hysterical.

I saw the promo for this episode, then missed it and forgot all about it. He really hit that out of the park. Excellent portrayal of 'talent'

I would see his movie. Actually, it doesn't sound that different from The Immoral Mr. Teas (somewhat NSFW.)

That's really funny. I enjoyed that.

That was perfectly hilarious. Interesting to see turnabout on Ricky Gervais, as I'd grown accustomed to seeing him riffing on some absurdity or other while the person he's talking to is writhing in discomfort.

Patrick Stewart is awesome. A couple Christmas Eves ago, my wife and I saw him in a one man show of "a Christmas Carol". Sounds cheesy, I know, but it was phenomenal.

Hilarious.

Wow, I want to see that show.

I was unfortunately reminded of Stewart in a very unfunny skit on SNL where he sold erotic cakes.

That was really freakin' funny... I think I need to check this show out.

his movie sounded more like "Zapped" to me than anything else. (and, to my shame, at the time, I liked that movie)

GET A LIFE!

This was brilliant. But yes, it seems like much the same joke:

> Young Man: Looks like a woman going to the bathroom.

Baker: Yeah! It's very sexy!

Young Man: What else do you have?

Baker: Oh, I understand.. it's not, perhaps, your cup of tea. Perhaps, maybe this sexy cake might be more up your alley. [ opens box ]

Young Man: This is the exact same cake.

Baker: No, no, no.. this is chocolate.

Young Man: Yeah, but it's still a woman going to the bathroom.

Baker: Exactly!

I know it's just a link to a video clip, but I have to say, this is fucking awesome.

This isn't the first time I've seen Patrick Stewart poking fun at 'serious acting', he's a man with a really great sense of humor, I wouldn't be surprised to find out he wrote that little skit himself. Go Patrick! If you want to see Stewart in a really great little comedy, pick up 'Jeffrey', the first time I saw it everyone in the audience was laughing so hard they were crying and out of breath.

You're not married, you don't have a girlfriend, and you don't watch Star Trek.
