Shadowmechanics - Appropriately apocalyptic scenes for these end times. Artwork/Illustration by Harry Halme. A definite preponderance of nightmarish creatures and reapers to suit the mood of the last few day's political landscape. I found this at SpartanDog.

And for once a decent interface for an artist's site.

Ooohhh scaary! And that Marilyn Manson! Scaaaary!

(Minus sarcasm: This is very silly stuff for most people above 12 years old.)

Through Spartan Dog, I noticed Hermann Nitsch's paintings, which are pretty awesome.

I'm above 12 years old, and I like it. It is, at times, repetetive...and sometimes inconsistent... But there are many more that I like on that page than I don't. I wish I had a full-res copy of the 6th from the top left.

I agree ARSNC, overall I really enjoy it, but I feel like it should seperated into different sections, or just remove some of them all together.

The Nitsch stuff doesn't impress me much. The colors are nice, but the hanes beefy-tees don't do it for me.

Really. Where are the underground hearings, the forced labor camps, the new debtor's prisons, the oil scarcity-fueled famines?

Reapers are the last fear weighing on me these days.

I imagine being shown these pictures...poorly printed and bound in a notebook....while he reads his poetry to me...

"The world is crumbling,
as I ride forth from the darkened dawn,
seething fire is consuming my dark soul,
I soar on obsidian wings of darkness.
My pain is greater than your pain."

hee. seriously some of them are nice. I like the one with the little dancing skeletons.

Doctor Negative: I owned that stupid album. Someone played me one song on it (some ballody thing) that I liked so I picked it up, but the rest is just totally stupid "Ve Are German Metallers who Score Vit Americahn Chicks".

Also - I hate metal, which I suppose didn't help.

Shadow mechanics, OTOH, is interesting in a sub geiger/mcKean kinda way.

Neat small site, thanks. Agreed about the interface; it's simple and useful. And what ArsncHeart said.
