44 pictures taken out of our window at random times of the day and at random intervals through the year. When taking the pictures I have placed the camera up in the corner of our living room window at a place where it gets nearly the same framing for each picture. Because it’s only nearly I aligned all of them in Photoshop.

Very nice, and shows you don't have to have a perfectly aligned photo from every day of the year to get a good time lapse. I might try this!

I really liked this and it gives me hope; I've been wanting to do one myself for some time and this makes it seem like less of a pain that I thought it would be. Very cool!

I can beat that. I once went to a little village called Myrdal at the inside edge of the Sognefjiord (The largest Fjiord in Norway). It was mid September - Fall, cool and crisp. The Manager of the little hostel I was staying in informed us that the place closed on the 14th of September, as that was when Winter started. I presumed at the time that he meant that the season was over and all tourist activities shut down. So we left on the 14th, and took the cog railway up the mountain to Flam, to join the main Oslo - Bergen rail line. Standing on the platform, we looked to the north and saw what the Manager had foretold. Winter was coming. Within minutes a wall of snow had arrived, and we were covered in 2 - 4 inches of it. Now that's punctuality.

It was like watching a screensaver with that tricky 'fade into' button pressed...Not really time-lapse video. But I watched the whole thing and it was still pretty okay.
