Abramoffgate?
January 3, 2006 2:07 PM   Subscribe

Newsfilter: Abramoff Pleads Guilty - Jack Abramoff pleads guilty to corruption charges, and promises to cooperate with prosecutors in exchange for a reduced sentence. The potential scandal could take down both Republicans and Democrats... but probably more Republicans. How long before this gets its own "-gate" suffix, and will it actually be deserving of that distinction this time? Via liberal site Huffington Post.

You felt you needed to include a "via" citation?? "The Sun rose this morning. Via my neighbor, Bob."

I like how Huffington post has major headlines that link directly to AP articles. It feels just like Drudge.

So, if I discover that I made a duplicate post, what should I do? Do I flag it? Just wait for someone to notice and delete it?

damn, I'll never get that to work.

(I'm trying to guess the number of a future comment and link to it, then have that comment link back to the first one.)

So the Huffington Post is a liberal site?

Well, Steve Martin posts there and he's no liberal.

Pray.
Hire a damn good lawyer.
Turn in your "business" partners before they turn you in.
Sing like a bird.

Steve Martin has posted there once so far. What is a liberal anyway? I've seen people who would define a conservative as someone with conservative opinions, but would say a liberal is more some kind of fell demon-creature, more monster than man.

So, it's not a liberal site? What is it in relation to, say, DailyKos?

I believe it's a lot like Drudge Report, he recommends it highly . . .

"The Sun rose this morning. Via my neighbor, Bob."

This made me laugh.

The post itself made me cry. Me and the baby Jesus.
