Is it still a double after four years? Probably. Still cool, all the same. I remember playing with this contraption way back when and thinking it (at the time) truly was the best of the web.

That link was best of the web 4 years ago and is still amongst the best of the web now!

In fact... it's better now. I haven't been to sodaconstructor since it was first posted and it seems so much faster now (probably my new computer and super fast broadband)... cheers!

Also, the beautifully intricate creations of Warptera are worth at least a day of examination alone. There's a tutorial on the site for those who want to know some neat high-level tricks, like overtensioning your springs when you create them.

There is:
You can avoid double posting by reading these [suggestions]. Generally:

* One year is the statute of limitations for an identical link.
* At least a couple of months for specific topics.
* Within one week, you're asking for it.
* On the same front page, travel out of the country. Quickly.

Aha! I used to have this bookmarked from back in the day when it was fresh and new... but over the course of crashes, reinstallations, new machines, etc. I managed to lose it... and completely forget what the site was!
