This was funny when I saw it on national television last night.

Those in the MetaFilter audience who are interested in a Jon Stewart video clip and have not yet seen it, please raise your taint.

I see your taint and raise it.

Your taint, not mine!

heh, just watched that like 5 minutes ago, and nearly choked on my tire bite.

"Do you know anything about choclate?"

Actually I missed this when it was broadcast on international television. Thanks for posting it.

Yes, I spend all my cable money on this danged modem - I don't get Comedy C. I herewith raise my taint.

I enjoyed the clip. Thanks for posting it. Daily Show is on point.

I thought that's what that signal was. Hilarious.

could have been worse. Could have flashed the "Spocker."

Yup, although he was so quick about it I almost thought I had imagined it. Censor worries maybe?

I wasn't finding it that funny...until the "map" of DC came up, then I completely lost it.

a lot of you people seem very disgrundled at this FPP, why the hate?
posted by wakko at 9:17 PM on January 18, 2006

wakko - it's because increasingly there is a trend towards piping in with cries of how much posts suck. See the post immediately below this one for another example. People apparently don't understand the whole "flag it & move on" concept.

He does it twice, the first time it's for a long-ass time. Very easy to notice.

I flag posts because I enjoy flipping bits in a database, but I agree with you in principle.

I was rolling of the couch laughing when I saw this last night. Thought someone might cut it up and post it.

A single-link post to a bit on an insanely popular nationally internationally broadcast television show just doesn't seem like best of the web. That's what I go to Crooks and Liars for! It's funny as hell, don't get me wrong. I laughed my ass off when I watched it air. Obviously there are a lot of people who hadn't seen it, so I suppose it's a good thing they did. Just seems weak to me...

well i mean the snl vid meets those criteria too.
posted by wakko at 10:38 PM on January 18, 2006

SNL vid? Guess I missed it.

If I didn't, and I wasn't grumpy in that thread too, boy do I feel sheepish.

This is funny. Stop being so anal. Or a cock. Or, um, anything inbetween.

Can I get a t-shirt with the map on it?

I'd have some comeback for that, but it's damn funny, so I'll let it stand.

So if we ask enough questions about politics, will people have to quit posting about that too? 'Cause that would be awesome.

I think I must be the only one who didn't find it funny when I saw the DS. Maybe because I'd never heard the term "taint" used that way.....The map of DC was brilliant though.
posted by CunningLinguist at 6:20 AM on January 19, 2006

as a non-usian I had to consult the urban dictionary. but once I had done that, I laughed my near-taint off!
posted by mr.marx at 6:29 AM on January 19, 2006

Yeah, it's funny if you think "taint" is some sort of dirty word. Which... I don't. So it's just bizzare.

In Canuckistan, we call that body part "the perineum," if we call it anything at all. That was a pretty great clip, though.

in Sweden we call it "salta biten"
