Is there a more inside? The cells in your ear that respond to sound act like biochemical equivalent of electrical capacitors. Interestingly, an overdose of salicyclic acid (aspirin) can induce temporary deafness by inhibiting the ability of these cells to "store" sound signal.

I was expecting something about those annoying hairs I have to clip from of my outer ear. I'm getting old.
