Is there a more inside?

The cells in your ear that respond to sound act like biochemical equivalent of electrical capacitors.

Interestingly, an overdose of salicyclic acid (aspirin) can induce temporary deafness by inhibiting the ability of these cells to "store" sound signal.

Somehow I missed the word "ear," and thought that this was regular ol' scalp hair grooving to the beat. Now that would have been awesome.
