Tickr scrolls flickr photos across your (mac) screen.
Try it; it's fucking awesome. I've got mine set on large, at the left side of the screen. (Or, if you don't have a mac/don't like photos, get the hell out of the thread.)

This is the first justification I've seen to upgrade from 10.2 to whatever current mac OS version.

Anyway, are there no plans at all to make this available for non-Mac users? It does look nifty.

Along the same vein (since I've seen a lot of cuteness relatesd posts lately), Cute Overload has a Tickr-like app that scrolls all forms of cuteness across your screen using Slide.

Uh huh.
Well, no doubt someone will hack together linux and windows versions. Really, this FPP should have waited until that happened.

Wow, this is amazing. I hadn't really appreciated Flickr much until this app. Setting it to ocean, I've already found two great local photographers.

This is great. Instantly taps into strange flickr patterns. I have it on 'knitting' (don't ask - free association) and lots of toy dogs in knitwear are now abseiling down my desktop.
