Rule #1 of belt sander operation: make sure the power trigger is NOT locked down before you plug the sander back in. It's amazing how fast it can plow through a tool-covered workbench top.

Move up to the unlimited class, and you get gasoline-powered chainsaw racing (more at the 2004 Power Tool Drag Races.)

Wow! cenoxo, that makes the belt sander racing look pretty lame.

America: what does the rest of the planet think of us? I'm surprised nobody has put a seat on one of these sanders yet.

Wow cenoxo, I just had a vision of three of those things as the feet of a giant atromech droid. One large enough to convey several people in much comfort. Ah, the things I could do with a 15 ft tall R2 unit!

I've got the fastest belt sander East of the Mississippi. It's the Nitrous tanks, yeah, but then I've got a little special "secret sauce" in the rig too. Gosh darn it, you should see that baby move.
