I think they really enhanced the author's vision with their interpretation the theme song from the book, You Gotta Go Fight Club. Chuck Palahniuk would do well to incorporate some of these changes in an updated version of the book.

They've made it into some kind of dumb feelgood gang movie. All Bollywood films have to be about a bunch of great friends and the crazy fun they have. What a bunch of shit. Bollywood is even worse than Hollywood, I mean, they outdo Hollywood at making garbage. If I was a Hollywood film guy I would hang my head in shame, then hang myself because I had failed. Bollywood shouldn't even be celebrated for its kitchness, it's puke.

Is this an actual remake or an original film with the same title? I can see them doing the latter so as to capitalize on the success of David Fincher's Fight Club. That aside, it looks awful. Damn I hate Bollywood.

You think because they are foreigners they have no sense of intellectual property? STFU. I personally can't wait to see this. Bollywood rules. you have't lived until you have seen a somewhat serious historical epic, like The Legend of Bhagat Singh which gets interrupted by singing and dancing.

i'm having a hard time getting my head around this, (even more so after watching the music videos...) Don't get me wrong, i've enjoyed Bollywood movies in the past, but Fight Club? It just doesn't seem right. What's next, a happy musical adaptation of Seven? Cause that could be kinda awesome.

Well they've already released the Bollywood Oldboy, from the guy that made Bollywood Reservoir Dogs and Bollywood U-Turn, so that someone would make Bollywood Fight Club doesn't sound like too much of a stretch.

Oh, come on. Bollywood is good entertainment, and it at least has a spark of life in it. And I agree, it's a bit late in the game to be complaining about ideas/plots/what have you being co-opted and cut-up and messed around with.

Bollywood puts out some horrible schlock and some truly amazingly good works, same as Hollywood, Japan's animation industry, the video game industry, the american music industry, book publishing, or any other entertainment industry. Each work is different and should be judged on it's own merits. Hating an entire industry (or any group as diverse) is just stupid. If you applied the same philosophy to people, you'd get in a lot of trouble. That said, I really hate Hollywood.

Hah. We were just in Mumbai and saw posters for this or ads in the paper etc. The trip was filled with cultural dissonance, so this was just one more data point in the mess, and I didn't ever stop to figure out what it was, and how it related to what I knew as Fight Club. Thanks for, sorta, setting it straight!
