[Warning! This is completely and utterly not safe for work. We're talking NSFW with sugar on top.] We've all been there. You meet someone you find attractive. They're intelligent and they share your interests. But there's still one thing you need to know about them and you're just not sure how to ask... [Link is to embedded video.] [Seriously. This is not safe for work. Hell, it's probably not safe for Alabama.]

Yeah, people here in the office hate the sound I associated with non-working links ("Server not found. Firefox can't find the server at www.goodiebag.tv.").
posted by nkyad at 7:23 AM on February 23, 2006

The link seems to be dead. I'm feeling lazy today, so pretend this post is really witty and snarky and made you feel so small that you'll never want to make another FPP again. I'm sure the next 30 posts will more than make up for my laziness.

Whew. I was about to post the YouTube link. The original link never stopped working for me, so I was beginning to think I'd lost my mind. Thanks guys.

Having seen most of it: meh. It's mainly juvenile, which can work, but then it's too long and the joke wears out. Jokes about buggery are best as quick punchlines that signal the end of the joke, not as extended remixes.

When I think about all the time and energy wasted making this video, it makes me sad. For what it's worth, I felt the same way about "Crash."

I stopped watching it shortly after it went color.... I got the joke, got a laugh, and didn't have to listen to three more minutes of ass jokes. :)
posted by Malor at 7:50 AM on February 23, 2006

Yeah, you see the joke coming about 1000 miles away. The only way this would be funny is if you could somehow sneak it in to the next Justice Sunday presentation...say, replace one of their "Left Behind" videos or something.

I guess I felt the appeal was more in the execution than in the concept. Kind of like Eric Idle's FCC song or Dave Chappell's "Diarrhea" choral performance. I felt they deserved a lot of credit for rhyming "you'd do it if you loved me" with "If you're nervous squat above me." But hey, this isn't the first time I've been accused of having a malformed sense of humor.

Also - and again, this may be just me - I get the impression that those involved in making this thing actually do have a fair amount of first hand experience with - and perhaps even affection for - the subject matter.

I’m so tired of people not tagging things “nsfw”! There is NO TAG that says this is NSFW.
How am I supposed to know it’s NSFW? I opened this at work and I could be in big trouble now. What is the problem with tagging things and making it clear something is unsafe to open and is borderline pornographic?

I’m so sick of stuff like this on metafilter. I’m calling this out.

Sorry about going overboard on the NSFW warnings. I think I've gotten used to posting on sex-related message boards and email lists where it's not unusual to encounter a lot of very graphic discussion. To me, metafilter always seems, comparatively, kind of sheltered. There've been several recent AskMe threads where I've had the impulse to share some very explicit thoughts and then had to remind myself that "Hey, this isn't bondage.com, it's metafilter. Don't gross people out unnecessarily." So when I contemplated posting a video in which "take it up the ass" is repeated twenty times or so... I got a little overly cautious. I figure "NSFW" denotes not just "hey, be careful about playing this at work" but also "if you're about to eat breakfast, you may want to skip this."

Besides, I don't know about you, but I never even notice those four measly little letters until after I've clicked on something.

This is the best song about butt lovin' since Eddie Murphy's classic "Boogie in Your Butt" [MP3].

No, the best song about butt lovin' is "F.Y.U.T.A.," a tender acoustic folk song by a guy I used to know, Brett Bayne, in which he writes "Let's break the bonds that chain us / And do the thing that might pain us / I want to get inside of your anus." For bonus points he also rhymes "I want to F.Y.U.T.A." with "in a real big way."

Unfortunately it does not seem that he has put this masterpiece online.
