I saw this commercial the other day, and I swear my IQ dropped five points by the time it was over.

Yeah, by the time the point got across all I could think was "They actually paid money for that?".

Funny, although I don't know if VW is making fun of or trying to attract the rice-tuner crowd (or both) with these ads.

Regardless the GTI is a great (but expensive) car.

Peter Stormare cracks me up every time.

Te real question is, was that guy typecast before The Big Lebowski, or after?

Unpimped by a nihilist! Fuck me. I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

Well, this proves that there's only one thing more disturbing then David Hasselhoff.

German homeboys.

There needs to be more ads with a trebuchet in them.

I saw the one with the black guy yesterday on the Colbert Report.

Very shocking, a radical departure from VW's previous advertising.

But at the same time, utterly hilarious. Also, the car actually looks kind of sweet.

I personally think that ads automatically qualify as "best of the web", because that's what the web was created for: as a delivery vehicle for advertising. I cannot wait until all amateurish, unsponsored content is removed from it entirely.
