That is *so* gay.

Mr Heterosexual is the creation of Tom Crouse.

For a second there I thought it said Tom Cruise. I then thought to myself, Mr. Cruise is taking this ghey thing too far.

God, that'll be the biggest fucking swordfight in three states.

What a tool.

Wait. Just so we're clear, you're telling me this is the co-sponsor? With the giant stuffed Barney Rubble doll?

And he wonders why hetereosexuality isn't polling well with the focus groups.

Please do not be drawn into any confrontation with any protestors who might be there. Let them have their protest, it will speak for itself.

Oh, look. The straight white guy is feeling victimized again. That's so adorable.

Does he really expect protestors? What will they be protesting? Breeding?

I wish his blog allowed comments.

It would, if comments weren't so gay.

Tom mentioned the Mr Gay international contest that was held in San Diego and stated that "you never hear of anything for heterosexuals- someone should have a Mr Heterosexual Contest."

Wow, that Tom sure is smart.

ha, batou_, I was about to quote the same thing. Thank god someone's sticking up for that dwindling minority, the heterosexual.

Eh...just playing to his audience.

I mean, exploring his sexuality.

I MEAN, championing scriptural truth.

Yeah, that's it.

I can't believe I spent as much time as I did drilling down through this to try to determine whether it was a very artful parody. After reading a few of the blog entries, I'm guessing no.

Identical blog template to Veiled Conceit...

Well, yes, but more importantly, identical to that of Mr. Cornelius Bear.

So . . . he's organized a fabulous all male pageant. Hmm.

I also like how gays never just have dumbass ideas. Like, the Mr. Gay International isn't just a goof, but rather an affront that MUST. BE. ANSWERED. It's like he's afraid that gay guys might out-stupid straights, so he has to come back with this to prove the hets to be totally immune to subtext.

Ashamed to say this went down in my city...

-One part of me was glad to see that protestors outnumbered audience members.

-Another part of me thinks there wouldn't have been 1/10th of the total audience if not for the publicity created by the controversy and protestors.

If anyone would like the details from the local (subscription only) paper, I'd be glad to post them here.

The best local commentary on this otherwise non-event can be found here.

And the best cropped photo from the event, well, you can thank me for that one.

You might not have seen them because in this country most of the media are too afraid to show them to you.

I was fascinated to read his views on the notorious cartoons. I kept waiting to find his link to something that the liberal media was too afraid to print. Surprisingly, I never found it.

Oh, and has anyone yet mentioned that the pastor is a former professional wrestler?

Oh, paxton...That is beautiful. Funny, all of the pictures I saw of the event looked a lot like this. Guys in boxers, guys in more boxers, the good rev'rund Crouse looking down at man-junk...I think the "queer kiss-off" protest outside was less racy.

Also, Paxton runs a site with some good info on what is going on here in the Woo. Since he isn't self-linking, I'll do it.

Paxton, stop. You're getting me all hot and bothered while I'm trying to work.

Women tend to command my atttention, but if Mr. Crouse feels otherwise that's certainly OK with me.
