Nevermind, it's right on the site. RTFA, Uther. posted by Uther Bentrazor at 11:44 PM on February 25, 2006
Ah, I was trying to figure out what the deal was with the sound but then I realized I was watching it on YouTube and WMP... a real loler. posted by Citizen Premier at 12:10 AM on February 26, 2006
I don't know...I'm not quite feelin this one....alone because the scenes seem much more about getting the voice-over dubs right above actually giving the trailer a sense of continuity. posted by Mach3avelli at 12:30 AM on February 26, 2006

Yeah, that was kind of my reaction too. The voice-overs match the mouths very well, but the dialog doesn't hang together. It doesn't make a coherent statement of what the 'movie' is about.
For all the work they put into that, the only thing I came away with was "Cowgirl bad".
It's technically excellent, but didn't do what it was supposed to do.... tell a mini story. posted by Malor at 4:00 AM on February 26, 2006

Pretty interesting, made moreso by the inclusion of a song by Brad Sucks, a DIY one-made-band type guy. His stuff isn't bad. I'm sure he's been discussed on Metafilter before. posted by kryptondog at 9:19 AM on February 26, 2006

Good, but still no Shining. posted by graventy at 12:22 PM on February 26, 2006
That was brilliant. The Shining trailer re-mix was a simple voiceover with a new music overlay. This was an order of magnitude more complicated. posted by stevis at 2:43 PM on February 26, 2006
Seed, you losers!
;^)
Well... comparisons to Shining are moot... apples and oranges. This was a different kind of endeavor, and every bit as good in its own way. Maybe better, in that I actually felt something (embarrassingly enough). posted by squirrel at 3:53 PM on February 26, 2006
You're aware that this was originally from a Videoedit contest on Fark, right?
Hope that doesn't ruin it for anybody ;) posted by First Post at 9:06 PM on February 26, 2006
