Bush crashes bike into policeman

GWB as a "moving, falling object" W fails to stay the course, sends Scottish cop to hospital (at last year's G8 summit). Apparently, the "object was waving and talking when it lost control. No word on whether gum or pretzels were involved.

This post was deleted for the following reason: dumb newsfilter, bush can't ride a bike lol

It's not exactly a shotgun blast to the face, but it's still another example of this administration hurting people directly, instead of the usual proxies.

But, you know, accidents happen to the best and worst of us.

This was an article filed by a "political correspondent"? Huh. Hack.

Unsafe at any speed. What a fucking embarrassment to America.

"While en-route President Bush phoned [the officer], enquiring after his wellbeing and apologising for the accident."

Lesson learned.

At the time Bush laughed off the incident, saying he should start "acting his age".

Apparently, Bush doesn't work for the corporations. He works for the Daily Show writers. He sets 'em up, they knock'em down.

Talk about hyperbole. I fell off my bike once, too. Am I an embarassment to America?

OK i HATE Bush but at least he called the guy to see if he was OK. Dick shot a man and then went to dinner...so we have a clumsy idiot and an evil robot running the nation...awesome.

Wow, this is a great story about a bicycle accident that happened eight months ago. Thanks!

(Does anyone else realize that constantly harping on every last trivial detail only detracts from the focus on actual, meaningful issues -- and lends fuel to the claim that Bush critics are just vindictive, raving hacks? Or, stated differently, hyping stories like this makes Karl Rove cackle with glee).

I would have hoped the cop would have felt threatened enough to start blasting. Damned Scottish cops armed only with sticks.

Plutor, if you were having a photo op and trying to be a tough guy sportsman president and you ran your bike into a cop? Yes, you would be an embarrassment to America.

Plutor, if you started an expensive, unwinnable war and ignored the Constitution, yeah, I'd call you an embarrassment as well. Silly me.

And I love the pardonyou? logic of the Republicans these days--paying attention to Dick Cheney shooting a human being in the head is taking attention away from Darfur! Bullshite.

This would be the second time he's plowed a bike into someone?

If you mean this post, I agree. Didn't we already discuss this, say, when it happened last July?

If you want to talk about things that embarrass the United States why not bring up the obvious pieces of shit?
American Idol
Dancing with the Stars
Skating with Celebrities
How about the new make over show for people with deformaties? That one looks like a real winner.

This is a shit FPP
