These are characters from Miguzi, and the game has simply been lifted from Cartoon Network.

That really is a frightening alien. And the boy beside the playing surface is pretty weird-looking too.

Awesome game, I love anything with chain reactions.
I got to level 20, the trick I think is to use around 8 drops to make sure you get all of them in one go each time. That way you keep getting extra bonus drops. The levels don't get harder, its an endurance contest. posted by MetaMonkey at 7:57 AM on March 3, 2006

Oh, good. Someone posted this. I was just about to, and I don't know how I missed it on the front page.
Last night I got level 13. Yeah, the trick is to try and set up full-board combos.
It's oddly satisfying in that "tetris/columns/bejeweled way of clicking/arrange things and making them go away" kind of way.

Oh man this is a satisfying game. I just sat here for almost an hour and got to level 29 (curses!). The complex dynamics of it all is almost poetic. Or I may have been playing too long.

Can anyone tell how drop rewards are related to combos? There's a positive correlation, but what's the formula?

drop rewards aren't connected at all--you only get 1 at the end of each level, no matter how many you've gained or used during that level...i've learned that every 3 or 4 pops gets you another drop during the level, and it's 3 i think if it's a combo thing. posted by amberglow at 1:10 PM on March 5, 2006
