I thought Zacharias Moussaoui was the 20th hijacker.

Is it a bit like being the Al Quada #2 man?

So the Twentieth Hijacker is this generation's Fifth Beatle?

This couldn't have gone in an open Gitmo/Bush/Terror thread?

Sure, or I could've not posted it at all. What's your point?

I wouldn't have found it in an open similar-topic thread, so I'm glad you posted it here. Thanks.

Very interesting. Assuming the log isn't doctored, it seems that he definitely had some level of involvement with those guys- if you just read the first day, his reaction to seeing and hearing the names of the hijackers raises a lot of red flags. If you read further, though, scary patterns of isolation and (major) sleep deprivation start appearing. I'll leave the legal analysis to our resident jurists, but damn, I'd probably be giving up my parents after a few days of that.

0450 SGT A is fusing the "Level of Guilt theme" with the Evidence.

0635 SGT A begins "Muslims in America Theme"

0830 SGT A uses "Level of Guilt" approach.

At this point detainee pleaded to be beaten by SGT B begging, "Please. Make her shut up. I joined the Taliban to get away from women like that."

1315: Corpsman checked vitals – O.K. Christina Aguilera music played.

This clearly qualifies as torture.

Unmentioned in the log is that SGT A is standing in the background with an Ashlee Simpson CD.

24 December 2002

0001: Control entered booth, changed music playing, and hung binder of fitness models around detainee's neck.

...

0200: Control entered the booth and began the "attention to detail" lesson for the night. The detainee still would not accurately answer questions about the fitness models

WTF? This is the high importance intel we're torturing people in Cuba for? To test if they can remember details from an offensive wank-mag we hung around their neck? No wonder we can't find Osama...
