The world's longest MadLib, based on Moby Dick, can be downloaded as a blank, or filled in by some 200 collaborating writers (in Microsoft Word format, I'm afraid).

Erma Bombeck and Dave Barry? I'd have to chew off my own arm to survive.

I thought most people realized mad-libs weren't that funny about the same time they stopped laughing at Garfield.

Madlibs are only funny when they're really dirty.

This is the internet. Everyone just tries to outsnark each other, you should know that by now!

As a fan of making up madlibs on road trips, I enjoyed this FPP. Thanks!

A much more fun game is to take the blank version and try to fill it in correctly, then compare to the original text to see how well you did. There are likely to be a few howlers, even if you know the book pretty well.

Madlibs are fun, but real madlibs have the 'parts of speech' numbered on a separate page so that you don't see the story until after you've filled in all the blanks.
