SHOOT THEM UP

Mono wants you to have a seizure. Fast paced 2D shoot-em-up where your goal is to paint the screen white (or black) by shooting aggressive blobs of red, blue and green. (Free downloadable exe) [More Inside]

Each color you shoot changes the way your enemies react, and changes the look and feel of the board. Getting hit results in a synesthetic blur of wobbling, gyrating pain. Get hit too often and the board starts vibrating and whirling out of control. Visit the binaryzoo homepage for 2 other conceptually simple, yet difficult games.

I can still see it when I close my eyes.

I like all of binaryzoo's games, but mono is by far the most satisfying. It's such a simple concept, executed perfectly.

Holy crap! So much stuff flying all over the screen! So many colors! *gibbers softly to himself in the corner* Yessss, my precious. We loves it! We loves it! And it loves usss baaaack! No! No, my precious. Nots for eatings, this one. Licking only!

And it runs full speed on my crappy work laptop. Good job, binaryzoo!

Great game, but my god it gets hard. I got up to 66 percent, and I think that's enough for me.

This reminds me a lot of Geometry Wars on the 360. It may actually be cooler, however...and that's saying something.

Interesting, according to the error message I just got, this game was made in DarkBASIC. Maybe about time I got into that.

i'll supply my own trails, thanks.

no, seriously. fast, clean lines and a dark room are all you need. mono works because it's part of the game, but duo/duo-tris are (imho) just nauseous.

Me and my mates have been playing this one for a while, it's non stop fun until near the end when the screen starts wobbling and you realize you haven't blinked in over 2 minutes.

One of my faves right now.

And if you like non stop spaz out shit flying all over the screen games check out Warning Forever

I keep coming back to this, but I'm still not even close to beating it. If anyone can get much past 85%, please tell me how.
