Explaining it all? Now if only someone could explain the year itself before we have to slog through it for 364 more days. (Flash)

yeah, every site on the internet has to be viewable with lynx 2.0 and completely comprehensible to every baboon who can keep his eyeballs on the screen for more than three consecutive seconds...

Perhaps not, but using client-side ActiveX objects is just icky. I'm too lazy to turn off ActiveX and see what the required widget is, but if you can't do it server-side or through EMCAScript, why do it?

obFreedomOfPersonalExpression: You can do whatever you like on your site. I am referring to sites created to attract a multitude of users, especially those created to earn profit. Why hamstring yourself by restricting who can come to your site?

For God's sake, it's just the Flash control. If you don't have ActiveX turned on, just download the plug-in version of Flash and your browser should use it instead. No?

It's not finished anyway. All that's there is a "preview" for the site which will be active on Jan. 20th. For example, there's a "FAQ" with no answers yet.

Hey... it didn't *say* "*answers to* frequently asked questions".

And you'll have to admit: those questions *are* asked frequently... :-)
