AOL launches in2tv. Why pay for Lost when you can be watching Wonder Woman for free? Maybe because you own a mac or hate streaming media. (Ok, so it's probably all over teh interwebs by now - but hey - free Wonder Woman!)

Bondcliff, I don't know how old you were when V first aired (I was 13 or so), but it is significantly cheesier than you remember, I assure you. I saw bits of it recently on some cable station or other. It was so funny to me then that aliens would come to earth with big feathered mid-80's hair.

VulcanMike: they put a commercial break in? Are you serious? or is it just the dead air where a commercial would go if there were any? No Mac support = sucks, but hey, they're using DRM'd WMV files. (which will simply be cracked & dumped on bittorrent anyway)

drstein: There was a commercial break after the first few minutes for a car. Dead air would have been fine. Second commercial break at 12 minutes -- an 18-second clip for a candy bar, and no ability to fast forward or skip. Third at 22 minutes -- different commercial for the same car. Kia Sedona. Interestingly, if you hit "Next" while watching an actual show portion, you get stuck watching the commercial. As far as I can tell, there's no way to skip directly to a position later in the episode, meaning returning later to finish a show will be a unwieldy option.

Oh great -- fourth break at 35 minutes -- same Kia commercial as the third. Fifth break at 44 -- minutes same 30-second Kia commercial as the first. It's one thing to insert commercials, but this is getting annoying.

Bah. I like my video platform-agnostic, since I have no idea what kind of machine I'll be using from day to day. When I want to watch video, I generally go to YouTube, which streams the video using the Flash plugin, which is available for Windows, Mac and Linux. If browser plugins aren't your thing, there's Real products (I'm not a fan, but it is an option), mpeg-encoding, and many other open source/proprietary formats out there. In short: bah.

What complete garbage. I watched one episode of "Kung Fu". Commercial break right in the middle of a fight. Then another commercial break about 30 seconds before the natural commercial break. Then in the last 2 minutes of the show, two commercial breaks! Then the whole episode is going to be summed up at the end. Kwai Chang is being approached by the town's judge who wants to talk with him before he leaves town - nope - the video stops there. BS Total garbage. A bunch of crap. Ca-ca. Turd city. Aren't all of these shows on DVD now anyway?

I dunno, free is free. I don't bitch abuot commercials on TV, and I think if you want free tv/movies/etc there's going to be advertising. The episode I watched of Kung Fu was great--I had never seen the pilot, and I really enjoyed seeing the show again.
