Was there supposed to be [more inside]?

Regardless, it's an interesting set of suggestions, but from the viewpoint of an (only moderately) concerned consumer in terms of privacy, I thought point #1 about the gov't classifying too many documents got short shrift. I mean, I know it was point number one, but it seems like maybe is could have used more than two sentences to do it justice.

Maybe I missed it, but what about open formats, and migration from one storage medium to another to keep things readable? There is no long-term viability in digital records if they're proprietary or vulnerable to obsolescence of the tech.
