I predict deletion after 23 comments, at least 17 of which will be variations on this joke.

I think the only thing particularly impressive about the prediction is that the 6th goal would be an own goal. Isn't it just the law of large numbers that eventually some fan's optimistic pre-game prediction on the internet will eventually correspond with actual results?

So, out of a bajillion (or is that gazillion?) predictions made by people last Tuesday, one(!) had a passing correlation with what actually occurred that day.

Maybe this is what they're discussing in Uganda today.

I'm far more amused by the fact that BBC thought it was interesting enough to make a news article about than the fact that it happened. They do love their football.

How do we know it isn't fake, as in, they might have the wrong timestamps or the person might have been able to edit the post afterward or something?
Also, would the person who predicted the exact outcome like to contact me personally and give me his predictions for this weekend? I could do with the money.

Wait, wait, wait....so a fan predicted his team would win a game in a blowout? No fuckin' way! And the other team would score against themselves, thus proving their incompetency? Good golly!

I predict Arjen Robben's head will be shot clean off by a sniper but that his hands will continue to clutch where his face used to be and that his body will roll back and too until a penalty is awarded or the full 90 minutes is up.
