Really cool. For us North Americans who use Letter size paper instead of A4, make sure to tell Adobe Reader to not shrink large pages so the hoods print at 100%. Otherwise they won't fit on your lens!

When I first scanned this, I thought it was for cardboard hoods (not lens hoods). I thought, wtf good is a cardboard hood? Oh, LENS hood! Kind of neat. I'll try one. I've four 3 lenses for which I've never got a hood.

Here is how to make your own softbox for your external flash, using a simple pattern on some white cardboard. I could have used this a few weeks back when I had to take my first "product shot" for an article I wrote. It was took a couple large white posterboards, an external flash, and my brightest bathroom lights to get the shadows muted down.

I just made a table-top product shooting set up. PVC pipe, some supplies from the fabric store and some big ass lights on a tripod from OSH. The whole set up was less than $50 and is pretty fun to play with. Here are some sample shots (still working on technique). I'll post a how-to soon.
