Bonus marks for the "ohmigodcute" and "punkdog" tags - both they and the post itself made me smile a lot. posted by greycap at 12:14 PM on March 24, 2006

How does one flag a post or comment ? I know the [!] link takes me to a page where a pre-configured flag can be chosen. But how does one give a different flag. Chosing 'other' option doesnt allow to input any other flag. This is confusing!!! posted by adnanbwp at 12:32 PM on March 24, 2006

Look, if you want to goof off and have fun, go to DailyKos. Metafilter is for rigorous study of serious subjects approached without frivolity, dedicated to the greater glory of God. posted by orthogonality at 2:37 PM on March 24, 2006
So true. The point is you're then supposed to go praise their photos. Just like high school.
When I was in high school we all sat around being cool by making fun people who were so lame as to actually you know...do stuff.
Now I feel like I am back in high school and this time without the lunch money. I am looking forward to my spare though. posted by srboisvert at 2:59 PM on March 24, 2006

punkbitch, spock copied-and-pasted the entire lengthy column of comments from that flickr page to here, taking up a mass of space. Then he MeTa'd the thread. That's all. posted by Gator at 3:37 PM on March 24, 2006
What's signal and what's noise in a thread about a dog with a dyed mohawk?!! Fuck all. Me want the funny: all of it. posted by zpousman at 4:27 PM on March 24, 2006
spock's comment was awesome--the meta thread is even better. posted by hototogisu at 4:29 PM on March 24, 2006
I don't think flickr users necessarily like every photo they see. I know if I see a photo I am not fond of I typically just move on, but if I see something I like, I comment on it. In other words, the amount of glowing comments doesn't accurately represent the percentage of people who actually like the photo.
Also, the firefox is adowable. posted by thekilgore at 8:09 PM on March 24, 2006
