Jonson, I'm pretty sure you'd have to cut chunks out of a Prius' frame to fit 22's on it. But when you do, make sure to get a spoiler and some Type R stickers.

Animation will be marginal, but I guess it would work.. A bit of hack calculations reveals that at highway speeds the wheels will be spinning at about 600 RPM, which is only 10 refreshes of the image per second - but that is 10/spoke - if you have 5 illuminated spokes, you have about 50Hz..

This is fantastic. If they made them in 18s ... well, I still wouldn't get a set, but I'd put it on the list of stuff to buy in the event of a small windfall. The bike kit eriko linked to, though, leads me to believe that some enterprising smart person (ie, not me) might be able to hack this onto stock rims without too much trouble. I'd buy that kit.

I believe it is illegal to have a led billboard on the back of your car that flashes messages to the person behind you (like "back off asshole"), though I have not been able to google specific laws. Such are not liked because of "driver distraction".

Man, I practically run off the road when I see a dvd playing in the car ahead (or five cars ahead) of me - the LCD screens are just so bright and clear, they draw my eye to them above anything else.
