Quick change artists David and Dania, who got her start in the Moscow Circus, entertain crowds at NBA half-time shows by performing quick changes of clothing. They've performed on numerous other shows around the world. You can even buy one of David's quick change tophats... (!!!).

That's pretty cool. Obviously they're using special clothes, but even at that I can't see how they do it. Are they wearing quick remove clothing in layers and just stripping off one layer at a time maybe?

It's Global Hypercolour. They have heat guns inside the blankets. Or else they've sewn thousands of liquid ferromagnetic prisms into the fabric, which align to give different colours according to the external field direction.

I saw them at a UK @ LSU basketball game a few years ago while in town for Mardi Gras.. It was unbelievable - didn't realize they weren't local though.. Neat!

Well, according to at least one of the clips on their site, when they do the finale overseas, they don't finish with her clad in Old Glory. Possibly because they don't want to receive the righteous blows of an incensed audience. She's also a Rooskie which may explain the ballroom dance component of their act. (It's in their blood, you see...) Great stuff. Thanks saketini99.

Jeez, some folks are cynics. The last outfit was just fine -- thw whole presentation was cool. Any "magic" act that legitimately has me asking "How'd They Do That?" is worthy of praise. Great link.

If you look at the video right before the confetti dump, you can see her start to unsnap the front of her pink dress. I'm betting the america gown is folded tight 'inside' the pink dress, and she quickly snaps it to the back and the whole gown falls out. Pretty sweet though, very nice execution.

Amazing! I don't know if it's significant or not, but I notice that her dresses gets longer with each change. They start quite short, and end up floor length. I would guess this is to cover the other ones?

I saw these guys on an airplane once. It was horrible. Due to a sudden loss of cabin pressure, their clothing exploded, and they were left standing there, nude, with all these weird flaps of skin that were just dribbling with silk. I still have nightmares.

Wow - I actually knew Dania Kaseeva when she did a hula hoop act at the Big Apple Circus. She'd keep 25 or more hoops moving around her body and then start adding handfuls of hoops to her arms.... very cool.

I've seen them perform at a few Bulls games. Even from the third floor, looking down, I've never been able to figure out how they do it. She also changes wigs a few times.
