Got to second "School of the Holy Beast" - best whipping with roses scene ever. And the star (Yumi Takagawa) is gorgeous. This was her debut performance, and I don't think she if ever did nudity onscreen again. Er, if you care about that sort of thing.

I watched Female Yakuza Tale [NSFW trailer] last week. Incredible cinematography, set design, and choreography, but it's hard to get past all the raping and torturing.

Espy, that 'trailer' showed me everything I could stand in that movie. Flushing that out into a full-blown movie sounds arduous, and watching that film, 'good for acquired tastes'.

Great historical value, though.

For those that care about this sort of thing: Santanico Pandemonium was the name of Salma Hayek's character in From Dusk Till Dawn.

i know that Rodriguez/ Tarantino are a nerds for B-movie cinema, but it is nice to see the origins of this stuff every once in a while.
