Ever wonder how time zones work at the North and South Poles? (No, not this North Pole, the real one.)

That's actually quite interesting; it makes good sense to just fix on a convenient time zone. At such extreme southern and northern latitudes day and night have more to do with the calendar than the clock. posted by Songdog at 8:24 PM on April 27, 2006
