The Infinity Project Josh Simpson makes glass planets. Tickle his fancy and you too may have the opportunity to hide one for posterity.

Wonderful idea. Excellent gift for the sharp eyed, though part of me hopes none are ever found. I very much like the idea of hidden treasures. There is a marble that was just barely showing though the top of the sidewalk near the front of my house. I know the sidewalk was poured during the depression because of the NRA stamp. Obviously somebody threw it in the mixer, or a child pushed it in, when the mix was soupy. Respecting its calm rest I gave it a blanket of Marine cement, and I doubt it will ever be seen again. It puts me in the mood for tragic beauty.

Aw, geez. This is just bloody fucking cool. The art-for-art's-sake part of me just wants to mist up over things like this. Bravo; great link.

I always keep marbles when I find them, just in case they're magic. Because you never, ever know.

This is wicked cool, plinth.

Something odd about rotten.com - children can gain instant access to grisly autopsy and crime scene photos, but require an adult check ID to see the "famous nudes".

Sigh . . . wish you didn't post that johnny, especially on what is an undeniably cool thread.

I wonder what Simpson is looking for? I'm going to be thinking of cool places to hide infinity worlds for a while now!

I found the link, but this brings up a minor ethical question: Would it ruin everyone else's fun if I posted it?

By the way, I rarely resort to name-calling...(ok, not THAT rarely). But I'm about to break that rule. Johnny, that was a dipshit move. Seriously. Why ya gotta bum everybody's buzz, man?

hey you're right kids, nasty link, but it did contain the words "absolute horrors", imply that it wasn't pleasant, and did make his point...if I didn't want to see something horrible, I wouldn't've clicked on it...

Sure, DiplomaticImmunity, but the overall tone of his post appeared to be lighthearted, much like the tone of the thread in general. I think his point (if he had one) could have been made just as well using text or something. Some of us don't want to look at dead babies while we eat our cheerios.

That said, I also think I was too harsh with johnnydark. When I first clicked on his link, I took it to be a deliberate ambush, someone playing a stupid prank. I now see that he may, however clumsily, have been sincerely trying to make a point. If so, my bad.
