"<a href="http://www.matbevel.com/aa_theArtifacts.html">Like music that ends where it started</a>, the path of imagination is the actual work of art. A virtual pedestrian carnival, parading it's array down the citizen beats of our lives. Discovering collages of phrasiosculpturalisms from the rich traditions of gestural mimicry. A carnivalesque engagement in pedestrian activity that demonstrates the existential antics of poetic logic in thought provoking characters of pure mechanical wisdom. And why not? Humor is a sucker punch. A bullet in the side of passiveness that will blow your eyes back into focus with a treat of sensory stimulation. People need to experience creativity within their own experience. Fascination is the passion of life, for the mind craves excitement."

Wow... that brings back memories. I went and saw him back in the day when he took over the old DPC space in Tucson.

he's still there. I go see a jazz show there every once in a while. during the intermissions he turns on all his sculptures and it turns into the weirdest, noisiest cocktail party. then more jazz.

I think I may have seen Flam Chen before...but my memory is hazy: it was the middle of the night, way out somewhere between here and Yuma, there was a cow pond between me and them, and I may have ingested any number of illicit devices.

as for path-crossing, I don't really go out anymore and am pretty happy being a hermit. I'm thinking of becoming an optimist, though, and if we were to have some sort of Tucson meetup I guess that'd be as good a time &amp; place as any.
