Chauncey the taxi driver? A cabbie, who had been waiting for his fare in the reception of BBC News, found himself being ushered into a studio and fitted with a microphone after raising his hand when a producer called out the name his fare. The video is hilarious.

According to the real Guy Kewney, the man interviewed was not a cabbie, but in fact at the BBC for an IT job interview. His name is also Guy, hence the confusion.

So nice it got posted twice!
I like that both you and aberrant picked up on the Chauncey Gardner angle. And when is someone going to interview the other Guy?

Latest twist - he's not a cabbie, he was there for a job interview. No wonder he looks stressed!

"The economics and business studies graduate"
But if there was some african guy sitting in reception, we would just assume that he must be a cab driver?
