now that we've seen Darth Vader as a whiny kid, a whiny adolescent and a whiny 20-something it a lot more difficult to take him seriously as a seriously evil old man. which is to say that i feel Palpatine's pain.

The Emperor sounded one helluva lot like Family Guy's Quagmire. I half expected the Emperor to say something like; "As you can see, my young apprentice, your friends have failed. Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battle station! Giggidy giggidy!"

The Emperor sounded one helluva lot like Family Guy's Quagmire. It is Quagmire. Since Seth Green works on Family Guy, he gets all the other cast members to do voices for Robot Chicken. I often hear the Meg character doing young woman voices on Robot Chicken, and Seth MacFarlane does a great deal sounding like Brian and Quagmire along the way.

Yes, it's Seth MacFarland. The "Meg" character voice is actually Mila Kunis, the dark haired girl from "That Seventies Show". She's on every Robot Chicken.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago, and thought it one of the funniest Star Wars based skits I've seen. It single-handedly reminded me to re-add Robot Chicken to my TiVo queue. I'm still impressed by their modeling ability. They make it look pretty damned easy.
