The internet is stuck, can somebody mirror this? posted by bigmusic at 12:46 PM on May 27, 2006
Cool visual look, but otherwise not that interesting or enlightening. It explores societal conflict about as deeply as the armies of stick men that do battle in the margins of my notebooks. posted by Mr.Encyclopedia at 12:48 PM on May 27, 2006
Very cute, and definitely artistically appealing. I kept trying to figure out where they lifted all the sound effects from, though. posted by blacklite at 12:57 PM on May 27, 2006
Thank icosahedral, loved the futuristic Peruvian tribal look. It reminded me of Indonesian shadow puppets.
Didn't think it was that deep but enjoyed it all the same. The other strange little movies on the Zumbakamera site are also interesting. posted by nickyskye at 12:58 PM on May 27, 2006

One interesting thing about this is that silhouette animation similar to this, but far lower-tech, was used in a film that many consider to be the first animated movie: Die Abenteuer des Prinzen Achmed, or "The Adventures of Prince Achmed." posted by L. Fitzgerald Sjoberg at 7:23 PM on May 27, 2006
That was truly beautiful. I'll be watching this several times. posted by edlundart at 10:13 PM on May 27, 2006
