Bob Keller's Jazz Page "Welcome to my jazz page. It contains stuff to which I want to refer and to which I refer my students." Yes, it's just a single page of links, but wow what single page of links. An amazing jazz resource.

Holy cow, that must have taken a long time. Great resource.

It's a bit too bad that jazz went and got all 'heady' and self-analytical.

So much old stuff is so full of sheer joy and 'fuck-it-all' ness.

I've been lost in an endless tangential exploration of jazz from this page all evening. I've neglected everything I should be doing instead.

Magnificent. See, kids, you don't need Flash to create the best of the web!

Gosh, yeah, it's a shame that all that new stuff prevents you from listening to the old stuff you happen to like. If only that damn Charlie Parker hadn't come along with his "Chinese music," you could still be enjoying Jelly Roll Morton and Duke Ellington!

Damn, I thought all you moldy figs went out to pasture a few decades ago.

HTuttle can't help it languagehat, please don't dwell on his disability.

Thanks jdroth.

And thanks languagehat. That link helps explain, or maybe more accurately complicate, some lyrics to a song with a terrific Wayne Shorter solo.

Very timely posting jdroth! I've been wanting to sink my teeth into jazz, but I was unsure where to go.

Now I do!

Not a big jazz fan, but there are a lot of links there that would be of interest to any music fan. Best of the web, indeed!
Thanks, jdroth!

Wow, indeed!

I'd toss in one of my favorite sites as well, Tom Morgan's Jazz Roots.
