I'm not a big fan of QuickTime, myself. But I am definitely a fan of this video :P

Do you have any alternative links? I would love to watch it, but I haven't had quicktime on my machine in going on 2 years now, and see no reason to revert.

Does someone have issues? Perhaps you would like to lie on the couch and tell me about it.

sourbrew: you can view it in flash by going to their main page and clicking the link for "Mother Please". under the "recent work" combo box.

VNC, ARD or RDC might help.

Thanks for sharing. I dig it...
Reminds me a bit of TV Sherrif (which, if you're into this sort of thing, is worth a peek).
posted by numlok at 12:12 AM on June 1, 2006

uh, that would be "Sheriff".

That's the first music video I've thoroughly enjoyed in a long time.

Can anyone tell me about the band? The helios flash page calls them "Anarchist Retchcore collective United Cutlery": "Retchcore" has no matches on Google (!!!), and "United Cutlery" brings up a bunch of, uh, knife stuff. Reminds me of Lightning Bolt....

Also, is sourbrew something I wouldn't need quicktime to know about?

Shit; I didn't notice sourwookiee was here, too. It's a sourfest!

That kicked all kinds of baked good ass.

Except for the part about the video consistently crashing either QT or Firefox in the first 3 seconds before I was quick enough to navigate away from the page and find the Flash version.

Almost, but not quite, entirely unlike EBN.

Looks like United Cutlery is a side project of Cypheraudio. Direct link to song here, and more at the bottom of the page.

It played in Quicktime Alternative for me!

This video operates, via negative dialectics, between a critical, autonomous, artistic practice and culture industry design.

delmoi,

that was decidedly bad ass, reminded me of frontier psychologist by the Avalanches. Although the Avalanches are admittedly less experimental.
