Do you have any alternative links? I would love to watch it, but I haven't had quicktime on my machine in going on 2 years now, and see no reason to revert. posted by sourbrew at 11:55 PM on May 31, 2006
Does someone have issues? Perhaps you would like to lie on the couch and tell me about it. posted by sourwookie at 11:58 PM on May 31, 2006
sourbrew: you can view it in flash by going to their main page and clicking the link for "Mother Please". under the "recent work" combo box. posted by delmoi at 12:03 AM on June 1, 2006

Thanks for sharing. I dig it...
Reminds me a bit of TVSherrif (which, if you're into this sort of thing, is worth a peek). posted by numlok at 12:12 AM on June 1, 2006
uh, that would be "Sheriff". posted by numlok at 12:13 AM on June 1, 2006

Can anyone tell me about the band? The helios flash page calls them "Anarchist Retchcore collective United Cutlery": "Retchcore" has no matches on Google (!!!), and "United Cutlery" brings up a bunch of, uh, knife stuff. Reminds me of Lightning Bolt....
Also, is sourbrew something I wouldn't need quicktime to know about? posted by mr_roboto at 12:19 AM on June 1, 2006
Shit; I didn't notice sourwookiee was here, too. It's a sourfest! posted by mr_roboto at 12:21 AM on June 1, 2006
That kicked all kinds of baked good ass.
Except for the part about the video consistently crashing either QT or Firefox in the first 3 seconds before I was quick enough to navigate away from the page and find the Flash version. posted by loquacious at 2:07 AM on June 1, 2006
Almost, but not quite, entirely unlike EBN. posted by hypersloth at 2:27 AM on June 1, 2006

Looks like United Cutlery is a side project of Cypheraudio. Direct link to song here, and more at the bottom of the page. posted by hoboscratch at 3:45 AM on June 1, 2006

that was decidedly bad ass, reminded me of frontier psychologist by the Avalanches. Although the Avalanches are admittedly less experimental. posted by sourbrew at 7:31 AM on June 1, 2006
