There's nothing to apologize for, these two posts go together like, well, the left foot and the right. That video is awesome! I don't remember the "I'm just going to play the ball off my other foot move" from back in the day. Not the kicking with the off foot, even I can do that, but the using the off foot as a bumper. Totally rad.

jack_mo -- I think the problem is your connection speed, not YouTube itself. Try pausing when the video starts, waiting for it to download completely, then hitting play. YouTube got so popular because the rest of us are seeing nice smooth video clips, not an occasionally updating series of grainy still frames.

Gee, I get a kick out of watching that. I love soccer, love the way it makes me feel like watching dancers, the beautiful expertise, fancy footwork. And the geometry of the sport makes me think of billiards.

'Did he ever play in a World Cup?' If you're talking about Le Tiss then, no: his international career never really got off the ground. In spite of hundreds of games for Southampton he played for England less than 10 times and missed out on all of the major tournaments. It's a shame, really: I think he would have done well at Euro 96. Still, a legend.
