Do you like pickup trucks? How about automotive history and evolution? Here are some pictures of old pickups, from the blatantly-obviously named oldcarandtruckpictures.com. And since I got complaints on IRC that the wheels weren't big enough...

The smaller, sedan type ones are known in Australia as utes (utilities), and have some cultural attachments. For some reason the US appears to have dropped utes ('pick-ups') from their production lines, while we still love em.

Well, we do have that Subaru Baja, but it doesn't seem to get the attention that those utes get. At least now I know why they called their "Worlds first sport utility wagon" the "Outback"

If you like the style of old trucks, check out The Southern 408 -- a modern '50s style truck. (available 2008-ish, ~$50k)

/ A friend of mine is involved with this project, but I am not.
// Not a truck fan, myself, but this beats the crap out of that hideous Chevy SSR...
