I remember doing these as a kid; I haven't gotten a whole lot better since.

Me too. I however had a book loaned to me from my maths teacher, and I spent many many hours figuring out every single one of them. (I was a nerd back then too). Hmm. *rootles around a dusty bottom shelf* Yup. Still got it. Maybe I should get round to giving that back, it's only been 20 years or so.

When I was in sixth grade, we used to do tangrams and if we solved them, we got a Jolly Rancher.

Now I can't solve these without candy.
