Aptly titled?
More like "Inappropriately titled."

It's ok. Seems like Red Meat, but less funny...

Guys, guys. Dave Cooper says it's funny. The Dave Cooper.

Huh, I was under the impression that the four internet humor groups were still: Ninjas, Pirates, Monkeys, and Robots. Or is this part of a new internet humor pyramid?

No one told you? It's now Plumbers, Butlers, Capybaras and Those Old Style Gramophones With the Big Horn Where the Sound Comes Out.

It's doppelganger comedy. Humour by aliens. They have been observing our planet for decades, making meticulous notes on this 'laughter' of ours, studying and refining their techniques. Now they have launched their attack, with timing, delivery, and punchlines all in place. But like the Martians before them, they've missed something. It looks like a joke, it walks like a joke, it quacks like a joke... but it's not funny. In any way.

...but why?

The oneoffs of this strip can be pretty funny, but the attempts at story arcs are nothing to write home about.

I realize that folks are not going to go through the archives of a comic if it doesn't immediately grab their attention, but I'd recommend reading the archives of this one. It hasn't been up for that long, so you won't have much to go through. (Well, it hasn't been up for long compared to S*P or Achewood.)

Thanks for this!

I didn't think it was that bad. C'mon, people, at least it's not Achewood.

Scarybear? As in Jason Pultz' "Scarybear & Friends"?

That strip dates back to the days of Y2K fallout shelters, eToys, and blended Montalcino wines. It's aged a little better than its peers, of course...

I didn't find a single one of those funny. Not even slightly.

I think I may write an amusing flowchart entitled, "How To Generate A Super-Wacky 'Alternative' Comic Strip That Might Get Published In A Local 'Alternative' Rag if You Sleep With The Editor And You're Really Absurdly Well Hung Or If It Doesn't Hey There's Always The Web And You Can Be Sure Some Sad Lonely Fuck Is Going To Think It's The Funniest Thing Since Zaz Turned Blue"

Nah, hell with it. I'll have a wank instead. Oh! I already did!
