Hey, there were scopitones in America, too. There was a guy in Brooklyn that was a historian of Scopitones and would have nights at bars showing them from a film projector. I've looked high and low for a copy of the version of "The Lady is a Tramp" I saw on Scopitone. Now, all I can remember is that the singer was 'something Drago' and looked Italian. Anyway, good post.
