Don't you see? It's art, and you're not supposed to get it.

But seriously, I don't get it either.

"Terry and I worship an unconventional deity. The power of another dimension. Now you are not going to read about this dimension in a book or a magazine because it exists nowhere... but in my own mind. Through our ceremonies and rituals we have witnessed the awesome and vibratory power... of color."

First time I tried I got a Firefox server not available error. Second time I got a site with links to some pop-ups. On balance, I liked the server not available page best. But I'm a philistine.

Safari can’t run the script “popUp('http://colorbot.com/color_ex/feijao.html')” because Safari doesn’t allow JavaScript to be used in this way.

And this by a link that is only supposed to work with Safari.

It works in firefox on XP. Or at least I think it does - I'm not quite sure what's supposed to be happening.

Thank god - I thought I was the only one that wouldn't get it.

Marge: "It doesn't do anything."
Homer: "Marge, really, what does it DO?"
Marge: "Whatever it does, it's doing it now!"

Goethe's theory of colour^ is covered here in a fair summary. The theory, and the work - Zur Farbenlehre - was enormously influential, Schopenhauer in particular coming out aggressively for Goethe against Newton. Surprising then that, on a first impression, the theory seems to be just silly. I'd be very interested if someone could argue in its defence - thing is, I don't get it either.
