For those out of the know: kawaii: An Japanese word meaning "pretty; cute; lovely; charming; etc." Don't confuse it with kowai, "scary".

well, i think it's awesome.

I'm dipped in chocolate!

I think it's chocolate. :(

Also: Pancake orgy. Now. Please. Right now. With butter and syrup on top. Mmmmm yeah baby, oh yeah. Flip my flapjacks. You know which side I'm buttered on, baby. Yeah, baby, I'm buttered all the way through.

Not only is our ravenous appetite for hipster crap unsatiated by Happy Bunny, but we'll gladly guzzle down even the most derivative creations.

"The webcomic for cute gone bad"

Most web comics at least attempt to have a semblance of balance between writing and artwork, creating an illusion of continuity and depth. At least it's up front about the one-trick-pony filling out the stable. Yay for four panels and snarky taglines expressed through inanimate objects? Cameras and phones don't talk! Pancakes don't procreate! My mind is blown!

See, anything can be cute with little Hello Kitty dot eyes and pink little cheeks, right?

Well, at least they understand their audience.

I, myself, have a severe dislike for the Happy Bunny linked to above, but still have to give some sort of props to kawaiinot. One trick pony? Perhaps. But good for what it is.

These look like they would print out into nice bookmarks.

THIS WEBCOMIC FAILS TO REVOLUTIONIZE ANYTHING. It is a failure, and by extension, you are a failure, m3.

(There, do I get my MeFi snark merit badge yet?)

They get funnier over time, which was dissapointing since I was reading them backwards. Um. But really it's just so repetitive. 4 or five really inspired ones might be great, but over-all the effort earns a big 'meh' from me.

"No, but here, have an asshole gold star instead."

I already have two of those. Well, technically I only have one, since I lost the first one but crash_davis generously tore me a new one right off his very own MeFi Scout sash.

For those out of the know: kawaii: An Japanese word meaning "pretty; cute; lovely; charming; etc." - Plutor

Here I was thinking we were talking about an island in the Pacific.

Yes it was very cute, but I'm not really into cute. *shurg* Some were a bit funny, but it was awfully repetitve. Sort of a one note joke.
