Red Buttons, a comedian perhaps more famous for his dramatic roles and for his famous "Never got a dinner!" line at many Friar's Club roasts. (He finally got his own roast in 1982), died yesterday at the age of 87. Glad you got your dinner, Red.

Wow. That bio page mentions "The Ambulance". For those who haven't seen it (lucky you), Red throws the contents of a bed pain in a bad guy's face.

BAD GUY
Shit!

RED
No! Piss!

He then clobbers the guy with the pan. Ouch.

Tangential Red Buttons anedote: His son Adam went to my high school, and was the biggest jackass of entire bunch. I made him cry by saying mean things to him, and was sent to the principal's office. Screw you, Adam Buttons, my dad's still alive! Advantage:jonson!

[Mike, in great pain and sorrow nods]

Wasn't he in that original star trek episode about Jack the Ripper? Or was that the Winnie the Pooh guy? I get them mixed up.
