Ever since MTV stopped playing videos, I find that I rarely even glance at it while channel surfing. But I do miss seeing amusing and creative videos. Luckily, Launch.com runs musicvideos.com, which offers a couple thousand streaming videos to choose from. The 300k versions are pretty good. The Foo Fighters' "Learn to Fly" is just great.

It looks like a valuable site, but it relies solely on Windows Media Player to stream videos... the one time I tried WMP, it kept crashing my Mac. I can't start touting a site as excellent until they make it accessable with a stable plug-in.

Yep that does suck. They obviously have a partnership with MS, because the 128k Real versions are pure dreck compared to the 300k WMP. It's a bummer they purposely cripple their site instead of letting the visitor decide which one looks best. If MS truly believed in their product, they'd put it right next to the competitors and hope people noticed a real difference, instead they resort to marketting shenanigans.
