Phoenix police say there are two serial killers operating in the area. One of them shot a burro. A burro! FFS! warning: last link has bg music

They offered three links about the murders and assaults. Then decided to add on a tidbit of information about an odd occurence that was part of the whole deal. I read the tone as incredulous, not "OMG, A CUTE BURRO!"
Actually, the burro was one of many animal victims...

The "Baseline Killer" seems to break the standard serial killer paradigm wherein the victims usually have a consistent profile (age, sex, ethnicity, appearance, etc.). Makes it all the more scary.
