Hugo Chavez makes a speech (more of a rant, really) addressed to George W. "Mr. Danger" Bush, calling him a "donkey". And that's just the beginning. (Google Video, Spanish w/ Eng. subs).

in other news, a certain latin american leader has been exorcised of a demon bearing an uncanny resemblance to a 14 year old democrat blogger ...

even the audience didn't seem all that impressed by his speech

by the way, mr chavez, there's a reason why leaders don't lead their own armies into war anymore ... they're smart

i'm not impressed ... and it has nothing to do with politics ... it's my understanding that nasrallah, bin laden and fidel castro are much more eloquent than this ... this sounds like a speech delivered in a cow pasture

*looks at cows behind mr chavez*

right ...

The funny thing is, the more he talks shit the less likely Americans will care if he's taken out. So he's sort of huritng himself, isn't he?

Plus it seems he's just stupid. He's kissing Iran's ass just to avoid kissing ours? But an Iran alliance is worth nothing compared to good relations with the USA.

I like the cut of his jibes jibbering jib. It could have used a better translation, though, don't you think? Anyway...

"If you ever come up with the crazy idea of invading Venezuela..."
*A roomful of CIA agents look up from their maps, look at each other, glance at the screen.*
"I'll be waiting for you in this savanah, Mr Danger."
*Each of the CIA agents plots an X on his map. One notes, "Watch out for cows."*

Pot, meet kettle.

I didn't realize Chavez was responsible for the deaths if thousands of innocent people.

Bush is so bad that he makes this lunatic look, well if not good, then, not all that awful.

Aren't all the epithets Hugo aims at Bush -- "you're a coward, a donkey, an ignoramous" -- right on target? Don't blame the messenger, read the message. We need these words to be used by the fourth estate in the US.

I may not like your policies, but Hugo, hear hear.

So it's a case of a pot callingout a kettle. That in itself is a bad thing. We have a president that that operates in almost every way like a socialist dictator. (Except that our president doesn't like it when Chavex gives cheap gas to the poor.)

Yeah, Chavez has too many warts, but then again so does Bush. How far have we fallen?
