This may or may not be a spoiler, but certainly summed up a lot for me, “Incompetent,” “idiot,” “liar,” and “ass.”

Ok, so the writer gets to slag on bush three times out of four, counting on the fact that most people will associate all of them with bush?

This seems like a lot of thwap thwap thwap....

"It's hard work" being President.

Harry Shearer's song "Hard Work" [mp3].

"There are also some misjudgments that were not made."

Amazing. Could have been a Rumsfeld quote.

Brilliant, painful article. Thanks.

How do sane citizens get rid of this guy and his abuse support network? What can practically be done to change things for the better?

Harry Shearer's song "Hard Work" [mp3].

Does anyone know where the background sample from this mp3 comes from? I heard it in another context so I'm pretty sure it's a song in its own right.

Can you believe there's still two-plus years left? It has seemed an eternity. I loved (wept at?) Sarah Vowell's line on the Daily Show regarding George W.'s inauguration: "I talk about going to [President George W. Bush's] Inauguration and crying when he took the oath, 'cause I was so afraid he was going to "wreck the economy and muck up the drinking water"... The failure of my pessimistic imagination at that moment boggles my mind."
