I dunno, but the only blog cliche bigger than "sorry this post is so long" is "sorry I haven't updated this blog in awhile". Maybe we'll get that one soon. Is there a Farsi version of this, or is it English only? That would be quite interesting.

By mentioning "God" so much, I don't think Ahmadinejad is helping his cause amongst "progressives". Best I can tell they kind of tune out when the "OG" gets referenced. Stick Darwin fish on their hybrids...that sort of thing.

During these 8 years, Saddam fought with us and also with his own people. He bombarded our cities with chemical weapons provided by the Western powers and also Iraqi villages and towns. During the whole period of war, while Saddam was bombarding our cities, Islamic Republic of Iran, obeying the laws of Islam and humanitarian principles, never attacked cities and limited the war with the army of Iraq in the battlefield. It is sad, that even this humane attitude of Islamic Republic didn't impress those who at world stage watched the war at that time. Is this possibly true?

Is this possibly true? No. Iraq fired 361 'Scud Bs' at Iran from 1982 to 1988 and about 160 al-Hussein's at Tehran in early 1988. In contrast, Iran fired 117 'Scuds' throughout the war, including perhaps 60 fired at Baghdad.

This is classic enemy psychology, and the reason they will never be peace in our time. They are always "bloodthirsty" and "brutal," but God is on your side, your side of course being "the people". You just wish for a real Snidely Whiplash for once, someone unabashedly nasty to those he knows are on the side of all that is Good. Or was that Saddam Hussein's heavy burden all along, both against Iran and the Kurds, the horrible secular sin-eater he was?

Hi SCDB, that's not really another report, it's a repeat of the one at giyus.org. Still, I wonder what's going on with these web sites. I'm getting a "server not found" message for www.khamenei.ir. A few hours ago, ahmadinejad.ir/ was replaced by something entirely different and all in Arabic or Farsi. Now it's back to the blog. I can only get to the main page right now, the direct link to the full blog post returns a 404. Yup, I wonder what's up?
